Federal, state, and county resources are often allocated by population. Historically, the Austin neighborhood has been undercounted — meaning the census reports there are fewer people living in Austin than in reality. The Good Neighbor Campaign is fighting to ensure that Austin residents are getting their fair share by encouraging Austin Residents to standup and be counted.
We are encouraging people to apply to become census takers
Bad actors can spread misinformation about the census in order to decrease responses.
